FINDING LOCATIONS TOGETHER
A Place For All is an advocacy foundation intended to rally third-party validation from San Francisco residents and business owners to take accountability towards solutions such as the expansion of a transitional supportive housing model. Transitional Supportive Housing, built with modular technology, will empower the City to construct thousands of units at a fraction of the cost and time while circumventing burdensome regulatory barriers which frequently delay traditional permanent housing construction. This concept has resonated in other communities and this model is cost-effective, efficient, and easily deployable. We cannot address the crisis of our street conditions if we cannot offer individuals a safe and secure alternative and this model allows the City to do so with geographic equity and speed. The City owns 1,700 parcels, the state, and federal government owned land, as do private developers and the religious community, which owns 801 parcels in the City proper. Together, we can prioritize where these facilities are located and rally communities to embrace our unhoused neighbors with the supportive services they need to survive.
